Statement |

The FIRESCOPE EMS Specialist Group has
been established to develop procedures and policies based
on the approval of the Task Force. The Group will strive
to produce products utilizing a best practice model, free
of political or geographic bias, drawing upon the experience
and knowledge gained in the delivery of public service by
all members in accordance with all FIRESCOPE policies and
procedures. |

| To California Fire Service Members: Through
a cooperative effort that included representation from not only
the California Fire and Rescue Mutual Aid System but also legislative
and regulatory entities within the state of California, FIRESCOPE
has recently approved the ICS 200 level position of Fireline Paramedic
(FEMP) for all- hazard incident assignment within California.
To assist you with any questions that you may have in regards
to your participation in this program please consult the guidance
documents posted below.
FIRESCOPE is especially proud of the work that has been done
on this innovative and ground breaking project and would like
to thank those individuals and their agencies who have tirelessly
worked together to create this important tool representative of
FIRESCOPE’s continuing effort to support our California
firefighters and the citizens we serve.
